The Blue Stars Fall In Back-And-Forth Affair Against Skokie Indians Blue

The Skokie Youth Blue Stars and Skokie Indians Blue played a tight game, but Skokie Indians Blue pulled out the 16-8 victory on Wednesday. The game was tied at eight with Skokie Indians Blue batting in the top of the fifth when Miguel singled off of Zev Goldstein, driving in one run.
Despite the loss, the Blue Stars did collect seven hits in the high-scoring affair. Unfortunately, Skokie Indians Blue had 13 hits on the way to victory.
Skokie Indians Blue captured the lead in the first inning. With zero outs in the first inning Miguel drove in two runs when he doubled.
The Stars scored four runs in the fourth inning, scoring on a fielder’s choice by Goldstein, a double by Gabriel Gordon Burstyn, an error, and an RBI groundout by Joey Cohen.
Skokie Indians Blue scored six runs in the seventh inning. The big inning for Skokie Indians Blue came thanks to a home run by Matt W and a home run by Jude.
Home runs for Skokie Indians Blue came when Matt W homered in the seventh inning and Jude homered in the seventh inning.
Gordon Burstyn, Goldstein, and Josh Pogonitz each drove in two runs to lead the Blue Stars.
Miguel, Matt W, and Aden each collected multiple hits for Skokie Indians Blue. Miguel led Skokie Indians Blue with three stolen bases, as they ran wild on the base paths with 13 stolen bases.
